Jonathan Crowston is a glaucoma consultant at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, a clinician-scientist and Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Sydney. He completed his ophthalmology training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, a PhD at UCL and a fellowship and early faculty experience from University California San Diego. In 2006 he moved to Australia and served as Head of Ophthalmology at the University of Melbourne and Head of the Glaucoma Service at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital until 2018. After 4-years at Duke-NUS and the Singapore National Eye Centre he has returned to Australia to help build the new Ophthalmology Flagship at the University of Sydney. He has extensive experience in tertiary referral glaucoma practice with good international insights into the diagnosis and management of glaucoma.
