Congartulations to Professor Ivan Goldberg’s AM who awas awarded the Member in the Order of Australia for service to medicine, particularly in the field of ophthalmology, through national and international glaucoma support organisations, and to education.

Congartulations to Dr Geoffrey Cohn OAM, who was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the 2010 Australia Day honours list. Dr Cohn received this honour for service to ophthalmology, and to overseas aid programs fostering improved eye-health services.
A brand new Spectralis OCT from Heidelberg Technology is now up and running at Eye Associates. The Spectralis is the latest generation OCT and can provide high resolution images of the retinal layers. The Spectralis will aid diagnosis and treatment of all retinal pathologies and glaucoma
Mark Gillies has been awarded the title of Professor and Director of Retinal Therapeutics at the Save Sight Institue, University of Sydney.
